I"d like to know if there is anyone here who has been on prednisone for long term. I'd like to be able to talk to someone else who's had to be on it for a long time and now suffers from the side effects, but the alternate choices were not really acceptable. So, is there anyone out there who's been on prednisone, long term - meaning years. Thanks! :-)

been on these steroids 11yrs,weight gain,round face and fluid retention,seem to pick up all sorts of coughs and colds,increased blood pressure and a higher alt liver blood test result,also possible high gtt result,so keep active watch your diet for too much fats and drink plenty of water
