I am currently pregnant and am looking into birth control options for after the baby is here. I don't want two under the age of one! I talked to my GP about birth control options and she suggested I go on the pill. Concretely, my GP said she would prescribe me microgynon. Are there any side effects of microgynon?

I was on the pill for only about a year, but when I did take the pill, it was microgynon. I think microgynon is probably the most commonly used pill in the UK, which is where I was living at that tine. I never experienced any nasty side effects, and used it to skip my periods altogether on a few occasions as well. I think microgynon is a good option.
