I started birth control about a month ago because I had recently become sexually active and feared pregnancy. My boyfriend and I had had unprotected sex 5 days prior to my appointment. My period was due at the beginning of the month of May, and I just now got it. But it is darker than usual, and there was a skin like object with a little amount of blood. I don't know what it could mean, if I should see a doctor, or if its normal. I need some professional opinion please before I tell someone about it.
