If you just swallowed the ring itself, i would think that you could easily pass that, but if you swallowed the whole thing, i would be afraid that it would get lodged some place in your intestine.
That thing is sharp on the end and if it gets stuck sideways it could possibly tear your intestine. If it makes it thru the intestine and tries to pass from the bowel thru a bm, it could cause a problem getting out.
I wouldn't take anything that would make for a loose bm for a while. The more cushion the object has, the easier it would be to pass.
I think for my own peace of mind of would want to have an x-ray.
