I ran out of birth control pills had had to wait a week to get my refill so I was on them for a week. After a week of missing the pill, I started the a new pack and a few days after I had started I had my first period for June which just ended last Wednesday. It's now Thursday and I just starting bleeding again today. It's not heavy or anything. I'm just thinking that it may be leftover blood or discharge leftover from my period that ended last week? Or because I was off my pills for a week and than back on them that I'm having a bleeding for a second time?

You are right. I discussed the same issue with my OB and had the same sitation. It's because your body was adjusting that you had two periods. Basically what the pill does, is trick your body into thinking it's pregnant. When you come off of it, your hormone levels change, so having irregular periods after on and off like that is not abnormal. Hope you're ok now.
