My mom suffers from Alzheimer's disease and was given Seroquel a few years ago. I am uncertain about the length of time she was on the drug. She now suffers from severe leg and body movements. At first I believed it to be extrapremedial side effects, she was put on Cogenton? and at first it seemed to help the movements. They have started again and I am not sure where to turn. Could all this be due to a doctor who seems to only use his patients as test subjects?
My mom went in walking and talking; and within a month she was unable to walk for any length of time, unsteady, and now she is suffering from the movements, unable to talk, and I am wondering if it wasn't just the Alzheimer's........
If anyone can help please do. She took such good care of me, now it's my turn. :-( :-( >:( >:( >:(
