I just turned 27 today (I'm a nonsmoker) and all of these symptoms describe what I have been experiencing. I have a huge bruise where the vein is on my left leg and I am going to see the doctor ASAP tomorrow morning. At first I noticed it here and there a few times shaving, and now it is really big and awful. It used to come and go but this time it's terrible. For the past few months, I haven't been starting my period until the first day of the new pack. This last time it was so bad I was crying uncontrollably for no reason--no thanks, I'll take regular PMS over this any day (and I think my boyfriend will too).
In the past three days, I've gotten the bruise, dizziness, shortness of breath, diarrhea, severe mood swings, and increased anxiety. My allergies (normally moderate) are severe and I have been losing hair from my scalp. Overall I feel a little weak (kind of like when the flu is kicking in, with the muscles).
In the past two months, I first noticed what appeared to be the effects of the increased potassium from the pill. I stopped eating other high-potassium foods and exercised more and it went away, but then my legs started cramping. I can't exercise if my legs are all cramped, so now I haven't been. I thought it was just dehydration or in my head, and it got worse around my period. Now I finished my period two days ago and will see the doctor ASAP in the morning. After I realized it was the pill, I had to take it anyway because of recent intercourse (to avoid pregnancy). Now I am going straight to the doctor.
I had breakthrough bleeding and worse PMS symptoms on Ortho low, and switched. I was very poor when I went to the doctor this time and she happened to have free samples of Yaz (which Aetna barely covers anyway) so I reluctantly agreed despite my reservations about 'low' pills.
Recently (last 6 months) I have lost weight, exercised, and am eating healthier. I have also improved my life situation and emotional state--but now I feel like my body hates me for all my good work. I'm not on any other medications.
I almost hope it is Yaz, and I hope that ceasing to take it will be a solution.

This is because yaz is originally designed for women with pmdd so they won't ovulate at all i have pmdd and I never ever got any side effects healthy as a horse. I don't know how to explain pmdd all that well so just Google into it.
