Before I started birth control for my ovarian cysts my periods were on average 7-9 days long and reduced to 3-5 after starting birth control, which was over a year ago. This month has been really off though. I started my period on the March 1st and it ended on the 4th. This one was normal but a little heavy. A second one started on the 8th and lasted till the 10th, it was light but painful. I started again on the 15th, still going, and this one is very painful and somewhat heavy. My boyfriend, of 3 yrs, and I had sex on the 6th (he had a condom and I'm on the pill). I took a pregnancy test to make sure and it was negative. Any idea what is wrong??? Well i dont think your pregant good you use protection n your on your pill which makes its better n well if you had sex and took da pill thats what its for for your period to come n to prevent pregency so im quessing it that and also your horsomes are acting up ! && to know pills also give side affects & dont worry you took a test n it negative you should be fine (: but if it contuines please go to ur doctor .
