Aleve is a medication primarily used to deal with RA – rheumatoid arthritis. I do not think it is that smart to take medication on your own, do this only after a consultation with an expert. Aleve affects the red blood cells and it is a blood thinner so you should be more than careful when it comes to taking this drug – do not take it on your own, please! It could do you more harm than good.

Aleve comes from a group of meds that have wide area of effect. Three major effects are analgesic, anti inflammatory and anti pyretic. That group is called NSAID. You should know that Aleve might really help you with your problem, if you see it is not enough, do not increase the dosage or change the medication, that would not be a smart thing to do. Talk to a doctor first!
