I am 30 years old and I had a car accident recently. I hurt my knee in the moment of hitting some other car. As a result of trauma, inflammation of knees occurred and doctor prescribed me with dolobid. I would like to know does this drug reduce joint pain. May I increase the dosage if it is not effective?

Dolobid might help you in this case, it belongs to NSAID group. Its basic functions are anti inflammative, analgesic and anti pyretic. It should not be combined with some other pain killers, acetaminophen for example, negative interactions might happen. Take prescribed doses and you should be fine. Still, if the drug does not help, try changing the therapy.
