I'm a little stressed out and in need of some advice. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on May 19th around 2am this was about 8 days after my period. He pulled out yet with me being the worry wort that I am, I got up and went to get some emergency contraceptive at about 10am that same morning. About 6 days later I started to get a brownish red discharge that lasted about 5 days. Now according to my period tracker as of today June 11, I am 6 days late. Is my concern justified or am I just scared for nothing?

Soooo what I do is I have to remind myself to count the days in between like I had this same concern back in march I thought I was 5 days late but I miss counted wrong and online trackers can be wrong in my case lol. So let's say my period was on 11th in March so I expected it to be on 11th the next month April and it wasn't so I freaked till I remembered I had to count from the day my period started before March, in February which was let's say on the 9th so I count the 9th day my period started till the 11th of March when my period started again that's 32 days apart. so normally your in between days should be the same every month but sometimes stress can cause them to be 3/4 days off like today I actually started cramping and bleeding when I should be starting 14th so not sure what happened there, but also it could be you may have had a cyst unaware may have caused the bleeding, and sometimes couple days after my period and I have had sex I do get slight brownish discharge even tho I'm off because yeah sex and all its natural uhum lubricants help discharge some possible remaining aunt flow leftovers. It is possible you could be pregnant but kinda rare since ovulation occurs 14 days in most cases after period and you did take a pill the morning so, I hope you get your answer :) good luck.

There are two things that are possible - you could get pregnant on emergency contraceptive (if this pill was not working or if you took it late) or you got your period earlier than you expect. Both of those things are possible.

But look, before you start to freak out, you should know that it is pretty much normal to get all sorts of hormonal symptoms for a couple of days or even weeks after using Plan B. Remember that you took a huge dose of hormone and  your body have a hard time handling or processing it.
