I'm a 54 year old female looking at possible surgery. I won't find out until I see my neurosurgeon again nov 1. I have pain and numbing in my head everyday. I'm good in the morning until I drive, walk or start activities, then within the hour my pain starts coming. As I have told people I have my good hours and my bad hours. I have no neurothopy at this time. The MRI shows small bone spurs and narrowing but I still have fluid. Ican't work and am on disability. Epidural is too risky because where needle would have to go is so small that the neuro said if he missed minutely it could cause a stroke. What to do??? Surgery or live laying down flat on my back half of my days? I have hone to PT twice a week for at least 8 weeks and also tried acupuncture with no luck.
