Ive had my first ever injection this morning in my coccyx and usually go once maybe twice a dsy but have neen at least half a dozen times on 6 hours.. I wondered whether it had anything to do with fluid retention whilst suffering the inflammation and the drug is assisting to dispel this now? It would be interesting to know... hope I don't have to get up lots tonight

Had shots in my back on the 16th and my urination has dramatically increased. I'm going to the bathroom so much I'm counting it as part of my cardio workout. Good to know it's not just me.

Yes I started getting epiderals , 2016 every 3 months. About five months of getting these for pain management, I have peed my pants after waking up from a nap I didn't even know if did it in my sleep. I have a new Dr. Need to remember if it can be related to the epiderals or from having a hysterectomy in 2001.

I have had four epidural cortisone injections in the past 6 months. Every time I have excessive urination and also the constant sensation of needing to have a bowel mover. As this kept me awake all night I tried to think of the things that could cause this. The first thought which seemed obvious was a possible nerve damage or temporary nerve irritation of my spine, because it does go away. My second thought was well, it is an antimflammitory. Perhaps I am peeing off retained water. I've been ill and gained a large and sudden amount of wait in the past couple years, and this would make good sense to me. I haven't asked the doctor yet because they never have answers anyway.
