The "pill" is also used to regulate your period. There are three weeks of pills that will be medicated and then a week of placebos. The week of placebos is when you should be having your period. With you going on and off the pill this can be a factor in your irregular bleeding. Remember as you get older your body changes the way it can handle different situations. So where you were able to maintain a regular schedule before, it may be fluctuating a bit. Also, different events in our lives can cause our cycles to shift. If you have insurance and can get to an OB I would recommend you do that, or locate a low cost clinic. If you don't or can't afford it, wait another month and see if your cycle balances out. If not then it's time to get in to a Dr. one way or another. Good luck!
