On Thursday March 8, I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time. The next day I felt a little bit of a burning, but it went away and I forgot about it. We had sex again on Friday afternoon/evening, Saturday morning/night, Sunday morning and on Monday night. I haven't had sex with my boyfriend since Monday because I'm afraid of it getting worse.
I hadn't felt anything else strange except on Monday night when I took a shower I noticed a bump(?) on the left lip of my vagina.. And since then three more appeared. So I have two on my left side and two on my right side. I've got a scheduled gyno appointment for next Friday, but I'm in a lot of pain all of a sudden. It feels uncomfortable to walk, itches, burns and when I sit I sometimes get sharp pains which cause me to shed a tear or two, but it goes away within two minutes. The itching and burning is constant though. Plus, it feels very dry and swollen down there. When I go to the restroom it burns, so I put some neosporin on it to help it from burning or itching as much. I don't know if that's bad or not but it relieves some of the pain.
If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I've been looking online for the past couple of days but I can't seem to find anything. I'm really kindof scared at this point. I'm most likely worrying for nothing, but this has never happened to me and I don't know how to deal with this.
Thank you so very much,
~Erica

Erica,
If it is still several days away from your appointment you may want to go the emergency room. You may just be irritated, have a yeast or bacterial infection, or something more serious. It is really better to be safe than sorry. Good luck honey!
