The Ipill does work but it is NOT nearly as effective as a properly used condom or daily birth control pill. The longer you wait to take it the less effective it is.
It DOES have side effects. It can make your breast sore/tender. Your next SEVERAL periods can be early or late, you can have spotting, etc.
