I have been on Lexapro for 4months and 30 lbs. I am going to start weaning off lexapro and starting prozac. The weaning should last a week. Any success stories out there about Prozac? thanks

Hi, I was on 10mg of Lexapro from 2003-2012! Unlike most websites that say "taper off" my doctor prescribed 20mg of Prozac and instructed me to take one in place of my Lexapro for 7 days straight. After the 7 days I stopped all meds. So far I am on my 3rd day of no meds at all and aside from dizziness (very mild) and a lot of nausea for a few days, I have felt fine. I am wondering how long this slight dizziness and light-headedness will last. Do you have any recommendations? How did it work for you?
