Well guys,
I just turned 31 on the 1st of August and felt a growth on my testicle. It turns out that they're suspecting it's testicular cancer. I did a CT scan of my abdomen that came back negative. I can't begin to explain to you how much of a relief that was! I was sure that I had another form of cancer, or that it had spread somewhere else. Starting Thursday, I will be a member of the one testicle community. As everyone else has mentioned, I'm worried about what everything will look like afterward, and considering having a prostheses put in during the same surgery. I am curious how many of you have gone down that route, and whether or not you were satisfied with the replacement? Or should I just let the one I have left get really big, and play Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball every time I have sex from now on? :)
Happy to see the support between everyone here!

Hi! as a girl, I think it would maybe be interesting for you to hear a girl's point of view (please notice that english isn't my mothertongue ahah).
I'm sixteen and I'm with my boyfriend since six months now. I recently found out that he has only one testicle, the right one. and honestly.... I didn't even notice it until one of his friend told me about it. Now I see it, but that's not a big deal. you guys shouldn't be afraid of girl's reactions, because this really isn't important, and as I talked about it with some girs (I still had some worries) , I know the majority of girls think like me. if everything else function well, where's the problem? you could even find a girl who's turn-on by your only testicle! because yes, boys, they're some!

I'm 17 and I had one of my testicles removed when I was a small child, I don't remember much of it but all of my immediate family knows, maybe more. They all apparently bullied me over it and my parents just let it happen, even now my father or mother or siblings will crack a joke at my expense. It doesn't feel great being tormented for something completely out of my control and a doctor's misdiagnosis at that.
Although I've come out fine physically, towering over my parents at 6', hairy all over. It hasn't done wonders for my mental health, being tormented and unable to combat insecurities. But in all honesty I've started slowly feeling better about it and finding this thread is kind of inspiring in a way, knowing I'm not the only one who has experienced this issue.

hi there
I have a 15month old son
and his only got 1 testie
they thought he has 2 from birth but ultrasounds and things didn't show up on the scans as they normally should if they're just undecended testis
the Dr reckons it just shriveled up n disappeared
so his left is compensating for both
but if u only have one get it operated to be fixed into place as my son had to he had his operation yesterday actually it's so it doesn't cause problems fertility wise or any other pain later if you only have 1 apparently it can cause pain from twisting n stuff n not having the support of the 2nd one

I lost a testicle years ago. I was worried what it would look like so I opted for a fake one put in. I wouldn't recommend it its smaller than the other and very uncomfortable . Not sure if women would have cared if there was only one there?

How old are you as of now. Do you have any emotional.problem if not physical please share

Other than it being abit embarrassing its not too bad. I wouldn't opt for a fake testicle if i had the choice again. Not sure women would care either way?

A matured woman will never mind this my personal opinion... thanks for your sharing its very helpful

I have an ex and somewhat still best friend who only has 1 nut and we joke about it to be honest with you. Like he accepts the fact of only having one and moves on. You can't change it easily but why be embarrassed .. If someone else can't accept you for who you are why are you putting yourself around people like that? But anyways he only has 1 nut because I guess the other one never came down. Like it just stayed in at puberty and he had surgery to remove it or something. He says he can't have kids or only has like a 10 percent chance. He's my best friend and all. But hes a hoe. And hasn't gotten anyone pregnant but yeah again only put yourself around positive people who can accept you. If that's not a topic you can joke about then you need to try and make it and you'll meet the right people

I had a testicle removed when I was 12 after it became twisted. I am 43 now. I have two kids and my sex life is great. I even had a vasectomy 16 years ago after my second daughter was born. I'm in good shape 5 9' 200lbs. Still work out regularly. Tallest in my family of shorties. Everything still works great down there. There is no hinderance of any kind. Most women won't notice until you tell them. There is no reason to worry about only having one.
