Hey! I thought I could answer your question. My son is about 2 years old now and he was born with only one testicle. The doctors all say the same thing... that it's very common (about 1 in 1,000) and nothing to feel ashamed of. They tell me that there is no risk of infertility or getting the appropriate amount of hormones as long as the one you have is working OK. Now in the case of an un-descended there are risks of developing cancer and other health problems IF it is not removed or pulled back down into the proper position. Obviously the best thing to do is seek medical advice because everyone's situation and body is different. Hope that helps

Hi there, if you have an undescended testicle though, shouldn't you have that operated on? I have heard that it can lead to cancer, yes, but I also heard that there's just a host of problems associated with it. have you seen a doctor about this?
