Under your profile, you should be able to turn off your e-mail notifications. Click on "Profile" at the top of the page and scroll down until you see:

Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.
Notify on new Private Message:

Change both default settings to "No" and that should stop e-mail notifications.
