I'm gay, and I don't know how to tell my friends and family.

I have had troubles with my sexuality for quite some time now, and I finally recieved an epiphany that I'm gay... Now to the problem at hand: I don't know how to tell anyone. I know they'll understand and accept me, but will they think differently of me? That's why I created a profile so I can have you nice strangers tell me! I should also mention that my stepfather is Catholic, and every one in my genetic family is against gays...(ironically, we all love gay comedians, such as Ross Matthews, Sean Hayes, Tig Notaro and Daniel Tosh). If someone could please help, I would be very grateful!
