i'm fine with the fluxation of my penis. Does anyone else find it extremely uncomfortable???? I really feel like sticking my hand down my pants and pushing the head of my penis out.
Why yes, thats exactly how i feel. I've quit going to the gym and have forgotton about trying to play hockey (goalie) anymore because everytime it happens, i feel that if i dont manually relax it and allow it to return to normal, that im breaking my penis if i leave it all shrunk up for an extended period of time.. (can you break it that way?)
This all began for me 1.5 yrs ago after i stupidly did massive sit ups way to hard after not doing them for many years. I think i broke something in my abdomen. I've also been diagnosed with Prostatitus. How these 2 factors weigh in i dont know.
In fact, even if im playing a really involving videogame or driving way too fast, whether its the adrenaline or involuntary tightning of my abdomen, boom, it happens. Modern science.. bah, whats it cured since Polio?

This was 3 weeks ago, it seemed like my penis had actually retracted into my groin. at the time, i decided to rest my body, and abstained from any running, but now i just came back from a run, and while IN run i noticed and felt my penis retracting inside once again.
can anyone help me? I'm going to see my family doctor soon, but if there is anything i can do, or if anyone knows whats going on, could they help?

It's very embarrassing getting changed at the gym. I can tell that people notice...I just want to cry out "It's not normally this size!!". It shrinks to very thin and about an inch long, if that!! Testicles retract. It’s like being 6 years old again.
Not that I've looked, but I haven’t noticed anyone else shrivelled up after using the gym.
I use weights and cardio on different days…it doesn’t matter what I do. When I cycle to work it exactly the same.
I do sweat a lot; I get very hot, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. If anything you would think it should have the opposite effect and everything should want to be outside my body!?
One of the first posts suggested that blood may be channelled to other places...well, I am a naturally large built guy, so maybe my muscle needs more oxygen...I don't know.
I don't like this. It even put's me off going to the gym!!
Like others, a hot shower helps, but it takes about a hour before it gets back to normal.

You're all silly, it's just your penis / testicles natural reaction to intense muscle workouts. And to a lesser extent the wind blowing on genitals makes them cold from the sweat, (sometimes) and that also doesn't help. It's not permanent, and no you can't break it. Heck, i'm 16 and even I know this. People and their bloody penis envy. Get over it.

I'm studying medicine, and the penis and scrotum retract during exercise/when exposed to cold temperatures. Its a normal 'reflex' reaction. Its normal. Nothing to worry about. Happens to me and i'm sure happens to almost everyone.
