Im currently having the same problem but i think my body is "re-booting". Last month i had to take Plan B. It tells you that you can stay on the pill after taking Plan B but that you're period might start a little sooner (and it did). Took my next pack of pills when i was supposed to and i have about a week and a half left and im bleeding. Very lightly, its mostly brown (but def bright red at times)...but like i said, very light. I think my body is getting used to the pill and hormones again because of the big flush out from Plan B. Does this sound logical? I guess im just gonna wait and see what happens after i start my next pack in a couple weeks. FYI, Im on Loestrin 24FE and my boyfriend and I have unprotected sex about every day (and seriously, this period is light enough that he does it without a condom so i dont know how worried i should really be). I am in the exact same boat as you right now, I've been bleeding for like a week and a half. Kinda scaring me.. But the thing is I don't have periods because I'm on a straight through pill because my doctor doesn't want me to bleed... So I know this isn't spotting because this hasn't happend to be before and I've been on this pill for awhile now. I'm getting quite fed up because I spent over 5 weeks bleeding because my birth control wasn't strong enough.. So I am so sick of bleeding all the damn time.

So I started taking junel fe 1/20 birth control on October 7, 2012, the first day I got my period. I took the pill every day and then on October 13, 2012 I lost my virginity to my boyfriend. We used a condom as well. After that I experienced some bleeding for a few days but it eventually went away. We have sex about 5 or 6 more times and I take my pill everyday at 10:00 and I have not missed any pills. Now it is October 21, 2012 and I am experiencing spotting again. This time it is brown and very light. Could I be pregnant from the first time I had sex or is it from my body getting used to the pill?

I just started using this pill in May, my periods were coming 2 times a month. This month (July) I had my period the second week of the pill, now i'm due for my normal 2nd period of the month & I've been having cramping and symptoms of a period, but no period.
