How long until you go and do your cancer testing? If you have to wait long time, it's the best for you to take a pregnancy test. But if you need to wait for week or less, then wait. The doctor will have your results, and then for sure you will know what is happening to your body. I really hope that you are pregnant, and you do have symptoms.

you can go to the doctor and tell him ot keep it confidential. and he is obligated by law not to tell anyone no matter who it is. you should have told him you were active. scary as it may be you could have STD. and some stds show no signs or symptoms until they show up in regular testing

I am 32 and have been doing some light spotting since september,it only last for a day or so then it is over,but it happen every month before and after my period. It feels like I am starting my period when I am spotting.I had a normal pap,vaginal ultersound,cervial exam,and cultures,came up with nothing.I am very worried something is wrong.Please!!!!!!!!!!! help.

-Brownish blood spotting that may occur because your body did not successfully remove all of the blood in the lining, and your body is just trying to cleanse itself
-You may be pregnant
-You may have a hormonal imbalance that you should talk to your gynecologist about
-There may be a slight chance that you have ovarian or some type of cancer, which requires tests ( please see doctor)
-From deep penetration of an object
Pretty much, if your period becomes irregular and you are worried about the spotting or anything else after a sexual experience, you should book an appointment to see your doctor, and keep track of your periods on a calendar, and try to have safe sex because spotting can also mean that you have contracted a sexual disease.

I take an oral contraceptive. i stopped taking it over the time i had my period which lasted an unusual 7-8 days. I went to the doctor because i was ill, she gave me antibiotics and i continued to stop taking my contraceptive while i was on the antibiotics. on the second day of my antibiotics which was about 4ish days after my period had finishd i had sex with my boyfriend. we used protection and had no problems. this was the forth time we had had sex together and had no bleeding issues in the past. i had bleeding start a day or two after this and it reached my underwear. it was light red and continuous with two clotty bits that came out while i was in the shower. this lasted 3 days and stopped then started again 4 days later. this is today. why am i bleeding ?

i just got put on birth control about 4 months ago, but i ran out for my last month and havent been taking any, and finally made it a point to get more. but while i wasnt on the birthcontrol, my boyfriend and i were having unprotected sex. my period has yet to come this month, but i am bleeding red and very lightly. im not sure if i should consider this a period or spotting.

Hi, I'm 16 and lost my virginity last night. I'm still bleeding and have adominal pain. My period is due in two weeks. its only light though. i'm on levlen 30ed oral combination contraception I know it's probably like my hymen breaking but i heard that if you miss a tablet and take two the next day it causes spotting and I did this last month. It's morning or day two and it's still happening, it's bright pink and or orange at times. I have been peeing a ton even though i haven't drank that much, and some cramping but not real painful. We would really love to be pregnant, but if we are not then i want to know whats going on. I haven't been on BC for over a year now, and the doctors office said b/c i'm so young not to worry about it and wouldn't do anything for me. Any help would be great.
