Please help me if you can! My 70 year old father fell down the stairs yesterday. Thus has happened before, and so far without any serious consequences but this time he has a serious lump on his leg! I haven't seen it myself, but my sister says she is very worried and that dad is refusing to have a doctor visit him. What should we do now?

Well, I am sure that you father is still mentally sound, isn't he? In that case, you can't really make him see a doctor if he doesn't want to, you know what I mean? You should probably have a talk about being really worried about him and asking him to see a doctor, but that is all that you can do.
