What a rudiculous thing for the doctor to say. Just because 50 million people take beta blockers doesnt mean they are safe. I am beginning to realise, in my long road to find good health, that it is not the disease that kills you but the dangerous drugs they give you in the guise of medications that are supposed to heal you.

It sounds like you've been through some pretty hard stuff. Your traumas and the way they seemed to come at times in quick succession reminded me a lot of my own life's story. I hope you're doing okay, or at least better now. I hope there is a way for you to wean off of the beta blockers. When you do, if you can, start taking Bacopa (55% extract in the tabs please), 800mg to 1200mg at night before bed. Also consider White Peony and Uridine Monophosphate. Also supplement Inositol and Cholin (main neuron components needed for repair and maintainance). The Bacopa and White Peony have done wonders for restoring my memory and cognitive function, but give it time. The Bacopa needs 3 months of regular ingestion to acheive the desired effects and it does more for long-term memory. White Peony works faster, but is more for short-term memory and retaining new information. Uridine Monophosphate will deliver what your body needs to heal neuronal tissue. Hope this can help...do some research if you're unsure. There is a lot of information out there!
