Hi Hon: Are you out of them because you took too many, or did a doctor stop the perscription. Whatever the case you have a problem that needs to be address ASAP!!! You CANNOT go off these just like that! Your brain which will be addicted already will not allow you to be off these. In some rare cases the shock to your system can be too much for your heart!

Your back might not be as in as much pain as what your brain is telling you!! But that doesn't stop you from the pain! IF you can get a perscription refill get one. If you can't you might have to check into a hospital. If that is not an option, you are going to have to take the recomended dose of Ibuprofen! NOT Tylenol or Asprin OK? Talk to your pharmacist 1st. If you CAN get ahold of at least a couple of pills, get a pill cutter - they are really cheap at the pharmacy. Cut the pills in half, take the half along with the ibuprofen.

If you are out due to using too much, then I would suggest you talk to your doctor about WEANING yourself off. NOT Cold Turkey, just weaning slow and methodically! IF he/she even mentions about cutting you off Cold Turkey - leave their office RIGHT AWAY. No physician in his right mind would put you in that position. Taking half a pill is a great way of getting off this EVIL medicine. But you will still need pain relief. I am on Tramacet, it is a GREAT pain reliever but you don't get stoned!! Which is what your brain is demanding. So until you can get back on some - Catch 22 here isn't it?! But that is the only way. So hold tight, it might get bumpy. Know that this will pass, and help is coming. Ibuprofen - and ONLY the regular amount is good for pain. And if you believe in marijuana and can get some, thats another way to go. It must be said, i am a MAJOR advocate for Marijuana over Opiates! So just know that OK? I am not pushing it on you, but I take "special" cookies to help me sometimes. Your choice of course hon!

So see if you can get some - legally, then work on it next week. Good luck hon. ALSO massage on your back and meditation is a good thing too.\
