Hello! I have been having problems with depression for some time. My doctor prescribed Zoloft and I take it every day at the same time for last two weeks. Actually I don’t feel much better but my doctor told me I should expect improvement after four weeks of taking it. I hope I will feel better then. Yesterday I got fever and took paracetamol but my wife told me I should talk to my doctor first. How Zoloft and paracetamol go together. Could they create any damage to my health?

Hi! I am sure you will feel much better after fourth week of your treatment with Zoloft. As I know, there are no bad reactions if you take paracetamol when on therapy with Zoloft. The only problem may be sleepiness since pain medication can make you sleepy and in combination with Zoloft sleepiness could be increased. But, to be sure, it is always better to talk to your doctor and ask him which medicines should be avoided while taking Zoloft.
