I know this is antidepressant drug but I have been prescribed with it to treat my problems with premature ejaculations. I am usually a cheerful person and don’t get angry so easily. Even if I do get angry, I forget about it quickly. This has not been the case since I started the drug. I am experiencing sudden mood swings. One minute I am great, the second cranky and angry at the world and always feel as if injustice has been done to me. Honestly, I don’t like this. Is this a common side effect of this drug? Will it go away or should I just discontinue the drug? Thank

Mood swings are paroxetine’s side effect. You didn’t report any benefits from this drug. Does that mean there aren’t any or that these mood swings are outweighing the benefits. You shouldn’t discontinue this drug before talking to your doctor. You may experience withdrawal effects. Check with your doc what you should do about it.
