Endometrium is the inside of your uterus and endometrial tissue is the tissue that breaks apart and bleeds during each menstrual cycle or that serves a s a blood supply during pregnancy. But sometimes, because of disrupted hormonal balance - lake after menopause, or other factors, endometrial tissue starts to grow and becomes thicker than usual and that is what causes more bleeding and pain. But, this condition is treatable with hormones such as progesterone.
