I had my last period on 2/6/13 and still haven't gotten my new period. I stopped birth control in the middle of my pack on or around 1/26/13. I gained about 10lbs after taking it for 2 months. Is it normal for periods to be irregular after stopping. I had unprotected sex once after my last period but no stuff inside me. I'm just wondering if it's normal for my cycle to be off or not. I'm pretty sure I'm about to get it in a few days bc I'm getting the water weight and starting to get that dull pain and the base of my pudge on my stomach like I normally get along with the random mood swings. I know I should take a test but as of right now I'm going to wait until the 11th. Normally my cycles start about 3 days before the date of my last period but it didn't start on the 3rd. I'm also taking into account that Feb only had 28 days. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

How do you know no sperm got inside of you if you had unprotected sex? Pre-cum can contain sperm so even if he pulled out during ejaculation, sperm would of been released inside of you. If he ejaculated above your vagina or on your thigh and any dripped down onto your vagina you could get pregnant. Yes it is completely normal for you to miss a period after stopping birth control. Your body will try to adjust itself without the hormones from the birth control sometimes causing missed period, late period, weight gain, breast tenderness, mood swings, etc. I suggest waiting for your next period and if its a few days late take a pregnancy test. If negative wait until your period is over a week late and retest. If its still negative consult your doctor. Good Luck
