I have a nasty infection, and I am currently 16 weeks pregnant. My GP has told me that he will prescribe an antibiotic if I decide I want it, but that he thinks caution is the best policy for pregnant women. What do you think about this? Any advice about this? What are the side effects of antibiotics during pregnancy?
