The most terrible thing has happened to my family. My twin daughters have both been struck by acute myeloid leukaemia. It has has been an awful ride for all of us, mostly for the girls of course but they do find a lot of support in each other. They will be undergoing chemotherapy from next week, and cytarabine will be one of the drugs used. I was wondering what negative effects cytarabine have. Would anyone tell me what side effects the twins are likely to have, and is there anything we can do to reduce the side effects?
