Hello, good people. My neighbor has been diagnosed with epilepsy. His neurologist recommends him keppra as a treatment option. Since he hasn’t got the internet, he asked me for more info about this drug. What are the side effects? Do you have any info you can provide me with? I would appreciate it.

Hi, there. I have heard about keppra. A friend of mine used to take it, but he had neuropathic pain, not epilepsy. I am sorry to hear about your neighbor. Keppra can cause several side effects. Hair loss is one of them. Anxiety and pins and needles sensations in extremities are also possible. Some people complain on headache and nausea. Addition of vitamin B6 can diminish psychiatric side effects. I hope your neighbor will be all right.
