First of all you should follow the directions your doctor gave you. And off course you have informed him/her of any other medications that you have been using. Regarding the side effects of Potassium Chloride which may occur there is gas, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, or diarrhea. If you experience any of this and if they
continue you should check with your doctor. If you experience black, tarry stools, vomit
that looks like coffee grounds or stomach pain or swelling you should check with your doctor immediately. If you experience chest pain, irregular
heartbeat, weak or heavy legs, unusual muscle weakness, unusual confusion or anxiety, or numbness or tingling in
your skin, lips, hands, or feet go to your doctor as soon as possible. An allergic reaction to Potassium
Chloride Crys Cr 20meq is unlikely but it can happen. I hope that this was helpful.

These symptoms are due to irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and are best managed by diluting the preparation further, taking the dose with meals or reducing the amount taken at one time.
