I took plan B 7 hrs right after the condom broke and today (5days later) im experiencing heavy spotting.
Does that mean I DID get pregnant and plan B stopped the fertilized egg from growing?
My doctor said its normal to experience spotting after taking plan B, but it seems to me its more than just spotting.
It's also not my period because its more of a Brown color than opposed to being Red --the period color?

I guess we're all having similar problems. I had unprotected sex, where there was no ejaculation, I took Plan B the next day even though I was confident I wasn't pregnant because it was only a few days after my period. So we've had sex with condoms since, I had my period about a week after the pill, and now I'm getting a brown discharge. I read about "implementation bleeding" and also other forums about women getting brown discharge from taking Plan B. But, I haven't seen anyone that had their period and then a few weeks later got spotting. Have any of you experienced this? Also, we never get any updates... did anyone end up being pregnant that started off with brown discharge? :-/

i too would love updates. i had my period 11/18-11/24. had unprotected sex 11/26, took plan b an hour later. 6 days later on 12/3 i started spotting light brown. i have also had sharp cramps in middle of my stomach. I am freaking out and just hope this is the side effect of plan b. im not expected to get my period until 12/18. its too early for a test and i am severely hoping it is just side effect. but any updates or help would be great.

i got off my period on jan 1 2010 and i had unprotected sex on the 9th and i took plan b not even 12 hours after. my perios are alwways exactly on time and normal.today is jan 16 and i have started bleeding is that a good sign?

Okay with the plan b pill is it still effective if its crushed up and disolved in water to drink? The box doesn't state anywhere if it isn't cuz we dropped it in water on accident and she took it anyways? It was the morning after, and she did have spotting a week later for a day I think, so do u think it worked

I had something similar, yet it seems slightly different than your situation. My husband and I had unprotected sex a few times our wedding night and only our wedding night. The following afternoon I took the PlanB One Step. I did not experience any of the side effects. It is now about 14 days after I took the pill and I got one small spot of dark brown vaginal discharge on my underwear along with some cramping and "funky" feeling in my lower abdomen. Additionally, I had a milky discharge prior today. I have had no discharge since. It is the 11th and my last period started on the 7th of the previous month. I usually am 2 days later each cycle (thus, I would start aroud the 9th of this month). I have had sore breasts that are quite enlarged, along with fatigue ( usual PMS symptoms). Having taken the PlanB One Step for the first and only time, I am really confused and wander if the hormones messed with me alot, or I may have another medical issue. My husband is in the Navy and has reported to his duty station alone; it will be a few months before I can move there. Plus, my city just had one of it's largest snow storms in history that we had gotten stranded in waiting in a hotel room for his flight that got delayed a day. Obviously, I'm under some major stresses right now, so I wander if I could attribute this to the stress? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!! I would like to know if anyone had a similar situation!! so in january i had gotten my period right on the 28, i had unprotected sex on Feb 19 took plan be in under 12 hours and yesterday Feb 25 i experienced spotting, and today (26) no spotting occurred. i usually will spot a day before my period or not at all and my next period isn't for another 3 days. i had experienced cramping during soccer practice tuesday night the 23 so i am kinda scared that plan b did not work. Any advice?

This is very comforting to read. I took Plan B on 2/15/10, a few days before my planned period. I took it after I found out that my NuvaRing wasn't where I left it (in my vagina) and figured it must have come out with a tampon during my previous period. I started spotting the next day and then a heavy flow 5 days later. I have been having brown spotting and clotting almost every day since. It is getting rather annoying. I am back on my NuvaRing and I'm hoping that after my next period and insertion of my next ring, I'll get back to normal. Stained undies is getting really old. %-)

I had sex with my boyfriend two days after my period. The condom seemed have slipped off a bit with the sperm still in the condom but I took the Plan B pill just in case around 25-30 min after the accident (cause it took us that long to get to the nearest drug store)
Five days after taking the pill I noticed I started spotting. but it was a bit heavier then I think spotting is supposed to be since I've had to use regular absorbency tampons. I've had this rather light to moderate "spotting" for three days now.
I'm concerned on if this could be another period right away or if I'll be spotting like this until the end of the month. Cause I always get my period the last weekend of the month %-) And also my periods are usually heavy enough that I need to use the super plus absorbency tampons.
Also in the third day I've had slight cramping but its hardly noticeable.
Thoughts?

Well, me and my girlfriend had sex in Mid-December. We used a condom but was worried it was tanted, so she took the Plan B a day after. She had her regular period last month and we were relieved, but this month, she was telling me that she's been spotting still. ( Note: Its been almost 2 months since she took the pill). Does that mean she's pregnant?

I took plan B 18 hours after the condom broke three days ago. I know its early and I have not been spotting but i have had severe nausea ever since I took the pill. it started almost immediately after I took it and I kept myself from puking so as to not throw up the actual pill. Ever since I have had awful acid reflux and stomach pain. I threw up today, but after eating I still feel awful. The day i took the pill I had spent the day drinking at a concert-does anyone know if that affects the pill's success or could be an interaction causing my nausea?

If ur period is more than 7 days late you need to take a pregnancy test...this happened to me too but on the fifth day ofmy period being late my period finally came most scariest moment of my life...remember the more u stress the more u can delay ur period
