Spotting vs Period. Plan B side effects.

don't worry bleeding and spotting are normal side effects of taking plan b. since you took the pill you now have a release of hormones in your body that is making you have a sort of "fake period". Basically your period maybe be all wacko right now but no worries. if anything you can just say that its an effect of it working properly.

I had unprotected sex on march 29th and my expected period was april 5th. I took the plan b pill within 48 hours afterwards. My period came on the 7th and finished on the 13th. Today is may 10th and i have not had my period yet... Am i late? And is there a possibility i am pregnant??????

I actually had the same thing happen to me. My breasts were crazy swollen like a whole cup size. I had cramps, discharge and felt tired. Two days ago I stared bleeding and now it is unbelievably heavy. I'm actually getting a little worried with how heavy it is. What ended up happening to you? Was it just heavy then back to normal?

My last period started on 5/5/12 and ended on 5/10/12. I have an app on my phone that measures the most likely ovulation days based on the period infomation entered. According to that app, my highest ovulation day was 5/19. I had unprotected sex on 5/20, and took the Morning pill the next day. I had no spotting, after taking the pill. I am now 10 days overdue, and have had 2 negative tests. I am trying to not stress out, because I know that can leader to even later periods.

I never have symptoms of my period coming on, other than more frequent bowel movements. I am now getting light headed in the morning, feeling nauseous, sore breasts, more frequent urination. Someone tell me what is going on with me. I am getting frusterated because of the two negative tests. If I am pregnant, it wouldnt be the end of the world, and I would be happy. (I have gained a little excitement from talking to my fiance about things,) but I just want to know for sure... like now! :)

I know this is an older post, but for anyone lookin for help, spotting is very normal but if u need to take q test to calm ur nerves. Heads up ur next couple of periods may be a week or so later than normal

hi. i have the same thing you were talking about. I took the plan b less than 24hrs after, and got spotting like 4 days later. but its with the brown sticky spotting not like period spotting. its my 4th day now. i dnt know how normal this is. have you gotten any answers about this? Im concerned.

So I had protected sex with my bf and the condom got stuck inside therefore the contents were emptied apparently. Wasn't sure so took plan b 30mins after the insident. 2weeks later I start spotting(pinkish) so I thought it was my period coming, next day same thing, next day nothing at all, next day more spotting. So I took a pregnancy test on the beginning of the following week and it was a faint line on the positive so wasn't sure fol days after spotting became red with small clots. Today took a first response test and I am pregnant. So makes me wonder about the eeffectiveness of this pill... :s I wasn't ovulating the day of the sexual encounter and took the 2 pills within 30mins so why am I pregnant now....

When i was having sex with my boyfriend (3 days after my period had ended) the condom was stuck inside of me, with sperm in it. We got it out, and I took a Plan B the next day. Within 4 days I got my period again - it lasted for 7 days. I was told it was normal to get your period or spotting after taking the pill and not to be worried but mine lasted for 7 whole days only one week after my period had ended. Now today, about 2 weeks later i got my period AGAIN. This will be the third week this month that i've had my period. I dont know if i should see a doctor or not because I have also been mildly spotting for the last 2 weeks also.

I was having sex with my boyfriend while using a condom( 4 days after my period went off), but he looked down and realized that the condom had broke! We immediately stopped and fortunately he notice before he ejaculated. I decided to take Plan b 2 days later "just in case" and Now (7 days later) im bleeding here and there  and experiencing menstrual symptoms. Im afraid this might be implantation bleeding! can someone help me! how can i tell the difference 

I took plan b on three weeks ago, and I started spotting a week ago. Is that normal? I'm also getting light cramping.

I took and and on the 5th day I started spotting on and off for another 4 days smh

im having the same issues, my last period ended nov. 21st. me and my husband had a incident nov. 24. and then on nov.30 i had started my period i guess but it was this thick brown stuff, and then today dec.1 its like a heavy flow. im kinda worried and my boobs are aching, and ive been in a depressing mood since the day after i took the pills.
