Hello.
I went to the pharmacy to pick up my birth control Kariva last night because I was ready to start my pill pack that day (friday the 6th) and the pharmacy told me they were out. I was running late so the pharmacist told me to just come back in the morning and take two the next day. However, the pharmacy called my house and gave me the knock-off form of Kariva, its called Azurette. I started it a day late, my boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex, and Im just hoping that me not having my pill till today made me become fertile or something, especially since this is technically a different pill. What are the chances of becoming pregnant due to starting a new pill and a new pill pack late? Any advice is helpful. Thanks.

it take more than one day for the effects of birth control to wear off. You are fine and still protected

Im going through the EXACT same thing almost except for the starting late thing. I went to get mine last night and I open it up and it said Azurette on it. I freaked out and Im still a little worried about it. Because I too have been having unprotected sex...

Do you know anything about this pill at all? I havent been able to really find anything on it

I just changed from Yaz to Kariva and I went to the pharmacy (Walgreens) today to pick up my first pack and they gave me Azurette also! They didn't tell me that they gave me a different one either, are they the same exact thing?

Same scenario: Kariva for years--> pharmacy--> Azurette. I am now 8 weeks pregnant...it's a good thing, my husband and I are happy. But, yeah. I'm pregant! :-)
