I was also on Traz for 21 years and am currently tapering off 100mg nightly. I am down to 50mg after 6 weeks and doing well except for the itching all over my body. I too had unexplained seizures for many years that are now gone. I believe the Traz was causing the seizures and I'm so glad to be getting off this horrible medicine. Not sleeping too good, but the thought that I will be fine soon keeps me going. This is not harmless stuff like the doctors have told us, it is a a bad drug that should be taken off the market for not performing as it is supposed to. I am never taking any drug for depression or anxiety EVER again........

My son is 36 and can't walk or talk. And they have him on 100 mg of Trazadone and the last few nights he wakes up screaming. And running cross the floor on his knee's, looking like he seen a ghost. It's really hard on the both of us. Because we both have insomnia. And my phychiatrics put me on Zoloft 150 and I couldn't function. I became more depressed and didn't want to do anything. So I got strong enough to get off of it. But it's not been easy. And I'm not in the best of health. I had a pulmonary embolism in my lung last August. I'm on blood Thinner's. I have Fibromialga among other health issues. I use to could feel when he hurting. But it has become extremely hard recently. He was just diagnosed with a kidney infection. He never had that before now. I love my son and I love it just being me and him. But I have to swallow my pride. And have someone come in and help us. I'm getting sleepy. I was on Trazadone for about 20 yrs. and stopped taking it cold turkey (300. mg) 2 mths ago. I am still experiencing severe heat and cold flashes which are just awful.

I'm currently taking 300 mg of Trazadone. I had to spend the night at my office bacause there was a huge accident on the highway and everything was blocked. I'm itching and I can't sleep.

Same here. I missed one dose of 100mg. Already starting to feel the panic for no reason. And I’ve been doing well with my anxiety. It’s a shame they prescribe anxiety meds that make you anxious.
