Unprotected intercourse, I took the plan be, does it delay your period?

Hi all..im hoping someone could possibly answer my questions....So in mid january i had an abortion (which i regret)...About 5 weeks later me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex...i took plan b the next morning..no more than 8 hours passed...then about 2 weeks later we had unprotected sex again..I didn't take a plan b this time.. I was wondering how plan b works..does it delay your period?..My period should have came on the 13th of march..it is now almost 3 yeeks late as of friday. Ive had light spotting also. I also want to add..I do want to be pregnant.I wanted the child i was pregnant with but because of stress coming from financial, family,and physically I couldn't go through it.And regret that decision so much. However, i want a child,my son wants a sibling..Please answer without any negativity. Thanks.
