My period lasts anywhere between seven to twelve days. How normal is this? I (hope) finally stopped today and I started last sunday which means that I have been "on the rag" for twelve days. This is usually normal for me. Should I speak to my doctor or just go with it? Also, it comes about every 25-30 days or so...

when your periods started? in the begning periods are irregular but after 6 to 12 mnths it becoms regular..but here my consern is regarding the number of days you bleed..go to the doctor get your HB checkd for anemia,let him know wht other problems you have!!

At this point if your periods are lasting that long, that's not totally normal. I think a good course of action would be to see your doctor. Are you on birth control pills? If not, they can be a great way to help control your periods so that they're shorter and lighter. Does that help?
