To stop taking Zoloft, Doc says to take half dose 4 days and stop on the 5th, is this an adequate back-off time?

I don't think four days is sufficient (from personal experience). My doctor told me to do the same... I've been dizzy, nauseas, have migraines, hallucinations and stomach problems... the only withdrawal symptoms that have gone away are the dizziness (for the most part) and the hallucinations. I'm on my 2nd week off Zoloft and I still feel these symptoms constantly. So I'd talk to your doc again.
