I started with 100mg Zoloft 3 years ago, because of anxiety that trapped me. I had plan to hybrid female consisted of mother, carrier woman and wife. And obviously that ambitious put me on Zoloft. Would it be hard to get off it? What are the symptoms of coming off Zoloft? I’ve made new decisions and don’t want to live my life on drugs. I think that I’ve developed tolerance and to need increased dose. I really want to stop with Zoloft.

I went off Zoloft but not suddenly. I was on 100mg too, than switched on 50, 25 few weeks after…When stopped completely felt weird, emotionally great because of my decision, but physically weird. It seemed like was having tiny electric shocks that went through my arms, legs and back. And sometimes they were not that tiny. My doctor said that didn’t believe these were withdrawal symptoms. But I believe that did. I also felt dizzy very often. Maybe you’ll need to take part in support group. Than do it, it’ll make you feel better.

I've been on Zoloft for a few months. It works but I can't lose weight while on it. I simply quit. Nothing happened. Go figure. I can't speak for every person, but Zoloft, as I understand, doesn't have a half-life like Prozac and maybe just something you don't have to wean off of.
