I am 20 and have been on the shot for over 2 years now and I have never gained any weight not even a pound. Now last month I gained 20 pounds and it went straight to my tummy and breasts. I have taken my shot properly every 3 months and so I was wondering if anyone else has had that happen or is my probability of being pregnant high.

Hi there, I am not sure why your weight came on so fast but I am not sure if the shot has anything to do with it. Have you been under a lot of stress recently? I would attribute that more to weight gain than anything. What do you think?

i have been on the depo shot now for almost 4 months. within that time i have gained 42 pounds. is that normal. and also i went recently to get my second shot and almost got sick and felt horrible for the rest of the day is that normal??

when i got the depo shot my doc told me to stay away from fatty foods, sugars, etc. Ive been eating all sorts of stuff and have been losing weight. i dont really watch what i eat i watch how much i eat...and i felt a little sick aas well but i believe thats what happens when u get the shot..
