What does it mean to have an orgasm?

Firstly, an orgasm is a release of fluids from the body. The male orgasm helps sperm from the man to enter the woman and fertilise the egg; the rhythmic movements of the penis causes sperm to surge from the testes (scrotum) and ejaculate (shoot/ooze). The female orgasm gives sperm a better chance of reaching the egg; the movements of the penis in the vagina causes vaginal fluids to be released with considerable force, in order words, gush. In terms of hw it feels, from a male perspective, it feels great, since a lot of rhythmic contractions is needed to orgasm.

During the male orgasm, sperm and semen are released through forceful muscle contractions, and hormone surges are also involved in the process. What it means is that you feel good :). If sex didn't feel so good, you can bet you that the human race would be in trouble, reproduction wise. From an evolutionary standpoint, it makes sense that orgasm feels good.
