In light of all other threads about Zoloft withdrawal being a terrible experience, I wanted to share my story. I was on 100mg for 10 months and decided to quit cold turkey recently because I had steadily gained 30 pounds. I gained this weight even though I lift 3 times a week and ride over a 100 miles a week on my bike. In addition I also surf avidly. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated. Even after reading all the horror stories, I still quit with no tapering. It is day five and the only things I've experienced are a little lightheadedness and the fact that I can FEEL again. I am also a ton more energized than I was before. You can read in my blog here about just what I went through...please don't be offended by the other things I write about...it is how I deal with my life...I am not ashamed to talk about it.

For all those out there, I do believe that you experienced some real things, but I never read anything about anyone having a positive experience, hence the reason for this new topic and post. I welcome any feedback you have and would be happy to answer questions about my journey.

I'd also like to note that I quit because I was becoming increasingly impulsive...evidence is on my blog...
