I have the same problems, left worse than right, my total health is failing, they say everything is spinal related. I went to one appointment, the assistant told me hi I am the one who manipulated your neck during surgery, prior to the surgery the doc tried to tell me there was a tumor he'd need to fix on the back off the neck, he wouldn't show or comment on it. After looking back we realize he knew my first surgery would be messed up by the surgery he was doing, no one was suppose to manipulate my neck after my stenosis surgery from five years ago. I haven't been back to him, he was suppose to fuse my back too. I am getting the runaround with all other doctors telling me they won't touch it. C4-c7 was fused, c7was worked on before. C3is now herniated and bulged right after surgery. It's choking me, radiating all over, headaches which they say should be from higher up. Stenosis in several areas. What do I do, one doc, a non acquaintance of that practice called to a hospital and asked if the neck was to be manipulated to get the metal in and he said no! He told me to not file disability and gave me other advise. Now some docs are making it sound like its all in your head, which it is because it pulls to the head. I've had bladder, heart, bowel, nerve path pain, etc. everything you can think of and it all comes back to the spine.

Presuambly, your body is producing more fluid before op. and for sure Doc. checked this. Please consult with them and in case they agree, usage of naturel
edema releasing compounds. With perscription Vasoserc or Betaserc are also medical molecules incase your Doc. agrees.
Cheers

That's exactly what happened to me. I hurt my neck at work, workers comp wouldn't cover it, I lost my job, had to declair bankruptsy, and just had an acdf of c6-7. Now both sides of my chest are numb, the muscle in the back left side of my neck is wrong. Feels like pushing my finger into play dough. I push in, and the muscle stays that way... very eerie. I haven't worked I. 16 months, now this... blah.. not sure if it was worth it. My Neuro said that the numb chest would come from my thoracic spine, after he told me there was nothing wrong with my t spine..... all I know is i worked for 24 years strait with 3 jobs in hvac, and now am bankrupt. Make sure you back yourself up anyway you can. I live in utah, and they don't have another option other than workers comp. They said I couldn't have injured my neck at work..... that's not how I remembered it. I was actually criticized because there were no witnesses... I worked as a service tech. Usually that entales working alone...

I had this same surgery in march and I have pain weakness in my shoulders, my neck. It feels like someone is pulling my arms downward or standing on my shoulders! I am in constant pain , nothing helps , I also have nerve damage! My palate , tongue and throat has lost sensation,, my neck under the chin area is permanently numb as well.
My initial thought was I must be looking my mind , because no one believes me, thank you for sharing your story. I will be seeing another Neuro for a consult soon!
