Hello, I am a 21 year old female. I have been active for 3 years now with the same partner. We were both virgins so STD's are ruled out! After intercourse tonight he pointed out that there was very light blood. This has NEVER occured. There was no pain during or after intercourse. There was plenty of lubrication and there still is no pain or soreness. From the looks of it there was bleeding during. I currently am using a tampon to see how much there is. Once changed I am gonna use another to see if it persists. My cycle is not expected for another 11-12 days. I am kind of worried and I really hope it was caused by stress or something that's not serious. I think I might take a pregnancy test in the morning just to be sure. If your boyfriend was fingering you before you had sex he could have cut you with his nails. This sounds like it would hurt but most people wouldn't notice. This can cause enough bleeding to be obvious after intercourse. Shouldn't cause too much bleeding. Using a tampon is the easiest way to prevent a mess. Just ask your guy to trim his nails :)
