I am currently on the depo shot.. lately my body has been going through changes that range from abnormal spotting for 2-3 days to sore nipples, nausea, and my mouth seems to have more saliva than usual at times. I have seen my family doctor as well as taking a pregnancy test. All tests comes out negative. My thought is that its probably due to the depo shot but the doc says it shouldnt matter. My new concern is that i have experienced an odorless brown discharge followed by lower abdominal pain and yes saliva has increased again as well. Should i take another test or could it just be my menses starting?

Yes, hormones (from birth control) would interfere with your periods, emotions, cause water retention, etc so it is very likely that the troubles you are experiencing are caused by the depo.
