In order to keep us with their motto about consumers being their highest priority, Cadbury has decided to withdraw a million chocolate bars from the market as a precaution.
The main reason is scare of salmonella as there is suspicion that some of the products could contain minute traces of salmonella.
In consultation with Food Standards Agency, Cadbury has withdrawn 250g Dairy Milk Turkish, Dairy Milk Caramel and Dairy Milk Mint bars, the Dairy Milk 8 chunk, the 1kg Dairy Milk bar, the 105g Dairy Milk Buttons Easter Egg, and the 10p Freddo bar.
Fresh stocks of these products are expected to be out on the shelves soon.
